Ever feel overwhelmed with your commitments, to-do lists, and/or life? Do you build in time to take care of yourself before or while you take care of all the other stuff? Join this course to discover research and evidence-based self-care strategies that are practical to weave into any part of your busy days/lives. Topics include, and are not limited to, mindfulness, meditation, play, and self-compassion. You will learn about and partake in a wide variety of hands-on and experiential activities that you can readily incorporate into your life. There are also many activities that you can share with family and friends as well as implement with clients/students/patients across a variety of clinical settings.
**Please wear comfy clothing and feel free to bring an object of comfort such as a teddy bear, pillow, and/or fuzzy blanket.
